\u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber<\/strong>\u201d (John 10:1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These words of Our Lord Jesus Christ are not an empty metaphor nor merely a pastoral image from the agricultural world of Judea. They are a divine warning, a spiritual key, and a theological compass for discerning who truly comes in the name of God\u2026 and who uses religion, authority, or even pious language to steal, scatter, and destroy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We live in times of doctrinal confusion, moral relativism, and a profound crisis of authority. Never has it been more urgent to return to this teaching of the Good Shepherd. For Christ not only spoke of Himself as the Door; He also revealed that there are intruders, impostors, mercenaries, and wolves disguised as sheep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This passage is, in many ways, a spiritual X-ray of salvation history\u2026 and also of our present age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

I. Biblical Context: The Discourse of the Good Shepherd in the Gospel of John<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Chapter 10 of the Gospel of John contains one of the deepest Christological revelations in all of Scripture. Jesus presents Himself through two inseparable images:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Christ Is the Door<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    From a theological point of view, these may include:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. False prophets<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Those who adulterate the Word of God to accommodate it to the spirit of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cBeware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep\u2019s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves\u201d (Matthew 7:15).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    2. Heretics<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Those who select certain parts of truth while rejecting others, constructing a false religion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Unfaithful shepherds<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Ministers who seek human approval before fidelity to Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Infiltrated ideologies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    When political, cultural, or philosophical systems attempt to redefine the Gospel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    III. The History of \u201cThieves\u201d in the Economy of Salvation<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

    From the beginning, sacred history has been marked by attempts to reach man without passing through God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The serpent promises knowledge without obedience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In Israel<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    False gods offered prosperity without covenant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      He called modernism \u201cthe synthesis of all heresies,\u201d because it seeks to reinterpret the faith according to human criteria rather than Revelation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Whoever comes from Christ teaches what Christ taught, not an adapted version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The true shepherd does not seek applause, but the salvation of souls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        3. Moral clarity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        He does not call evil good or good evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Preaching about sin is avoided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

              we are trying to climb the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              IX. Mary: The Door Through Which the Thief Never Enters<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

              Catholic tradition has seen in the Blessed Virgin Mary the \u201cPorta Coeli\u201d (Gate of Heaven), not as a substitute for Christ, but as the one who always leads perfectly to Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Mary never offers an alternative access, but total obedience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \u201cDo whatever he tells you\u201d (John 2:5).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

              X. Present Urgency: Discernment in Times of Confusion<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

              In the digital age, religious voices abound:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Never has it been so easy to hear thousands\u2026 and so difficult to recognize the Voice of the Shepherd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                \u201cMy sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me\u201d (John 10:27).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

                The question is not who speaks the loudest, but who speaks with the voice of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                XI. Practical Guide to Protect Your Soul<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

                Ask yourself these questions:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                Does this draw me closer to the Cross?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                Does this call me to conversion?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                Is this in continuity with the Catholic faith of all time?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                Does this lead me to the sacraments and holiness?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                If it does not pass through Christ, through His Church, and through His truth\u2026 be careful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                \n\n\n\n

                Conclusion: The Door Is Still Open\u2026 But Not Every Entrance Leads to Life<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

                The great modern tragedy is not merely that thieves exist, but that many no longer distinguish between the door and the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Christ did not come to offer one option among many. He came to be the only secure entrance to eternal life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Today, more than ever, this phrase must be engraved in the Catholic heart:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                \u201cHe who does not enter through the door is a thief or a bandit.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

                Not everything that appears spiritual comes from God.
                Not everything that speaks of love preaches truth.
                Not every shepherd leads to Heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Therefore, return to Christ.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                Enter through the Door.
                Remain in the Sheepfold.
                Listen to the Good Shepherd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
