Tears and Mercy: A Deeply Contemporary Reading<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We live in times of collective anxiety, open and silent wars, identity crises, and profound wounds within the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Virgin who weeps is not a prophet of fear, but a Mother who warns. Her tears are not tears of condemnation, but of mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let us recall the Lord\u2019s words:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cO Jerusalem, Jerusalem\u2026 how often would I have gathered your children together\u2026 and you were not willing!\u201d (Matthew 23:37)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>God weeps when man is lost. Liquid Relics: Superstition or Sacramental?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to distinguish between superstition and sacramentality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Church has never taught that the tears possess magical power. They are not talismans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But they may be considered <strong>sacramentals<\/strong>, that is, signs that dispose the heart to grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like holy water, they do not act by themselves, but insofar as they open the soul to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The veneration of relics has a long Christian tradition. A Practical Spiritual Guide<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to respond today to the Virgin\u2019s tears:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dedicate weekly time to meditate on the Sorrowful Mysteries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for priests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make a small act of reparation on Fridays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Live purity with coherence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defend the faith with charity, but without compromise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consecrate your family to the Immaculate Heart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Above all, remember that Mary does not weep to paralyze us, but to awaken us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion: Tears That Announce Hope<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Paradoxically, the Virgin\u2019s tears are not a sign of despair, but of hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For only one who loves deeply can truly weep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mary continues to exercise her spiritual motherhood. She continues to intercede. She continues to warn.
