Yet this is how millions of Catholics today walk through life\u2014armed with a diluted faith, a “light” version of the Gospel, in the midst of a fierce spiritual battle. These are not times for lukewarmness.<\/strong> St. Paul warned us: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”<\/em> (Ephesians 6:12). Will you face this battle with a handful of memorized catechism phrases and a dusty rosary?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I. History: When Faith Was a Backbone, Not an Accessory<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Education System:<\/strong>\u00a0Excludes God, promotes ideologies contrary to human dignity (gender theory, abortion, euthanasia).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Social Media:<\/strong>\u00a0Bombards with hedonistic, materialistic messages and distortions of faith.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Work & Social Environments:<\/strong>\u00a0Relentless pressure to stay silent, compromise, or “be modern.”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      A mediocre faith is a punctured life vest in this ocean.<\/strong> Without depth, you absorb the world\u2019s lies unfiltered. Unintentionally, you become an empty “cultural Catholic”\u2014or worse, a vehicle for error.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      III. The Concrete Dangers: Beyond “Good Vibes”<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      A shallow faith is not harmless. It is an existential risk:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Abandon mediocrity today.<\/strong> Open the Catechism. Pick up a solid book. Speak with a wise priest. Deepen your prayer. Your faith is not a hobby. It is your identity, your salvation, your mission. And the world\u2014now more than ever\u2014needs Catholics who do not waver, who know their Lord and defend Him with love and truth.
